World Book Day

Last updated :March 4, 2021

On Thursday, 4th March 2021, we celebrating World Book Day by asking all staff and students to come to school/ online lessons dressed as their favourite book character. We were absolutely blown away by all of the time and effort the children put into preparing their costumes. They were amazing!

On the day, we participated in a number of book related activities, including: designing our own front covers, creating bookmarks, acting out stories using puppets and writing our own stories.

We also had some Drop Everything and Read time, to give our children the opportunity to read for pleasure as well as inviting some Mystery Readers to come and read to them.

The children thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our love of reading on the day.
