On Wednesday, 24th February 2021, Year 4 went on an adventure to explore Ancient Egypt. When the school gates opened in the morning, we had many Pharaohs, mummies and sphinxes turn up ready to learn. Throughout the day, the children spent time learning how to mummify tomatoes in science, acted out the story ‘ There’s a Pharaoh in the Bath,’ in English, cracked Egyptian codes in maths and designed their own Pharaoh crowns in topic. Overall, it was a fantastic day, which the children thoroughly enjoyed.
